Visual Art

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

SNGS Visual Arts Club provides a creative environment with the aim to develop pupils’ interest and love for Art.

Our young artists will learn the art of observation which is fundamental for any artistic expression. They will have the freedom to improvise and will be continually challenged to stretch their imaginations to produce 2D to 3D masterpieces through the explorations of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. They are given the opportunities to be experimental and explore the different mediums and techniques as much as they wish!

The Visual Arts Club provides a platform for Art enthusiasts to take part in activities that extend beyond the formal Art curriculum and aims to instil interest through exploring, expressing and appreciating the different Art forms. Last but not least, Visual Arts Club aims to create a fun, enjoyable, safe and friendly environment for all Visual Arts Club members.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

The Visual Arts Club plans to develop our young artists in:
                      •       personal responsibility
                      •       social responsibility
                      •       leadership development
